Harmony Day was celebrated on Tuesday 21st March 2006. As part of the activities involved in promoting this years theme, 'Celebration of Community - A Place for All People', 9 students were selected to enter the Harmony Day Art Competition.
These children included Brooke P, Claudia S, Lachlan W, Cheyenne W, Jayden D, Alexandra C, Chloe G, Angie S and Danielle W. All of these children submitted outstanding pieces of art representing what living in harmony is all about.
The competition was entered by most primary schools on the Central Coast and 13 finalists from K-6 were selected. Of these 13 finalists, 5 were from St John Fisher; a result that we can all be proud of.
The finalists from St John Fisher were Brooke, Claudia, Lachy, Chloe and Alexandra. Their artwork will be made into a Harmony Day Calendar for 2007 with each child having their own month. Congratulations!
